Today I would like to go over a few things that will help make the sale of your Calgary home go more smoothly and successfully.The most important thing to do is hire a professional Realtor. A good test to see if somebody is a good choice to sell your home is if they can explain what's going on in the Calgary market in 60-90 seconds. You also need to feel that they have the confidence and ability to perform the work required to get your home sold.
One important thing to note about the Calgary real estate market is that prices of single-family homes have stabilized greatly in the last few years. In 2009, there were 8,100 single family homes on the market. Today we have about half that number on the market. We have finally sold off all the excess inventory that was just sitting on the market, and even with fewer homes, prices are still remaining steady.
